Baroda Rajasthan Gramin Bank, sponsored by Bank of Baroda, was established by Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 23A of the Regional Rural Bank Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) by issuing Gazette Notification No. F No. 1 (26)/ 2005-RRB dated 03-02-2006, by amalgamating 5 Regional Rural Banks viz. Marudhar Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Aravali Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Bundi Chittorgarh Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Bhilwara Ajmer Kshetriya Gramin Bank and Dungarpur Banswara Kshetriya Gramin Bank, sponsored by Bank of Baroda.The Head Office of the bank is at Ajmer and its three Regional Offices are at Sawai Madhopur, Bhilwara and Churu.

Our Bank is inaugurated by Mrs. Usha Thorat, Deputy Governor, RBI and Dr. Anil K. Khandelwal, Chairman and Managing Director, Bank of Baroda.

The amalgamated five erstwhile RRBs were included in the second schedule of Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 and were categorised as the scheduled commercial bank to undertake all banking transactions under section 5(b) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. The operational area of the bank is spread in 13 districts of Rajasthan viz. Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, Tonk, Karauli, Ajmer, Bundi, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Churu and Bikaner

The Bank is extending its services through 274 branches and 20 satellite offices. Bank has customer friendly Deposit Schemes and is catering the financial needs to all sectors through Micro Finance, Kisan Credit Cards, General Credit Cards,SME finance and a to all other Non-Farm Sectors in its area of operation. We are number one in Self Help group (SHG) linkages amongst RRBs in Rajasthan. For our customers we are providing Fund Transfer facilities across the country through at par cheque facility under the arrangements with our sponsoring bank i.e., Bank of Baroda, ICICI Bank Ltd., HDFC Bank Ltd., and AXIS Bank Ltd. Our customers are also being extended the facility of Traders collection accounts and the services for collection of cheques and Drafts payable at 289 centres in India through HDFC Bank Ltd.

To provide value added services to our clientele, Bank has already entered into MOU with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Ltd for life insurance business,with National Insurance Company Ltd. for general insurance and with Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. for farm mechanisation.
